Project Overview

Understanding The Client's Problem

La Creme was opening a new location in the Okanagan. They needed a landing page to advertise the new location and to connect with their facebook and google ads. This landing page should be invinting and similar to their current styling and not so different. Also it should be stylish and follow current trends.

Getting to Know Their Audience

La Cremes main audience are women in their late 30s and early 40s that are willing to spend more money into their skincare, they are also looking for high end products and personalized approach and rotuine. The landing page was designed to be insteresting to this demographic with a modern flair.

Competitor Analysis

Before entering into the the next phase of the project, we needed to understand what was the competitor landscape of La Crame. Although they offer unique services in the area, they are competing with other spas for their facial treatments and for the reatail part of the business, they compete with big e-commers stores such as Amazon or Sephora. This helped us to define the visual language of the site and brand to be more warm and approachable and to best show their unique value proposition that would make them stand out from their competitors.

Defining the Art Direction

This direction we decided for La Creme is approachable, vintage, clean, colorful, and warm. It has a soft and friendly feel, making the potential costumer to feel comfortable and welcomed to share your story and be a part of the boutique. Also, we wanted to add is a nice mix of green and soft pink pastels that resembles the colors of the Okanagan area.

Design & Development

After defining with the client the art direction. We proceeded to design and development. This website was designed in Figma and developed in Shopify.

Final Website

After final reviews, this is how the website looked like. The website is no longer live because it was used only as promotional piece for the opening of the new location.

Client Sucess

The promotional landing page for La Creme provided the perfect arriving spot to promote the opening of their new location. Combined with targed ads, it helped La Creme to reach more people, generate traffic to their online store and bring people to their physical location.
